The Highlighters
”Our group was unique, but great. On the first day our group was seriously addicted to sniffing markers which is why we are called the highliters. We had lots of fun and did lots of work had a lot of fun.”
We have talked about the bible, and what it means to us; as well as looking at how love is represented in society and pop culture (e.g. Music), and how that compares to God's love. //Panu
Before i came here i had doubts about having fun, making friends and making great memories, but now that we're on our very last day here i know that i had no reason to be worried. // Iris
My favorite times of these past 8 days have clearly bern playing a basketball game, going to sauna, and swimming. We have been eating tons of food which to me sounds like a good thing. //Hugo
The camp allowed me to make friends, have fun, and learn about God at the same time in a way that was engaging and interesting way. // Roope
I will never forget the people here who made this time truly special. I laughed with them, cried with them and shared my thoughts with them, and they never judged me. The biggies were also awesome; they were supportive and amazing, always making sure we were fine. I am more than greatful to always be able to carry these memories with me. //Inkeri
I had an extremely fun camp, I met many new people and got to experience lots of new crazy things. On the first day our group was really loud, but the next day we were working super hard and since then we have done all our work really well and efficientlyI really enjoyed my camp because it was my first time being an isonen and I can say that it was awesome and I'm gonna do this again if I can. // Otto (the biggie)
Coffee kids
The camp has been extremely fun and it has been a pleasant experience to be a part of. The camp has also deepened our knowledge of our religion. Our group really enjoyed the evening programme and making new friends across the oceans. The group enjoyed their free time and going to the sauna so often.
Exit to the right
We have seven group members in total and we all get along well. We're the most outgoing group in the camp, we all have enjoyed the camp to the fullest extent. We have shared several good memories such as, our time spent in bible studying groups. We also enjoyed the Olympics even though we were robbed of points. Nik got so competitive that he was willing to expose a little "extra" to win. We loved taking a walk in nature and venturing off the path a little. We weren't very good at raising the flag but we still managed to pull through.
Outin muruset
Me olemme Outin muruset.
Olemme mukavia ja ryhmässä meillä on aina hauskaa. Olemme puheliaita ja avoimia. Leirillämme on ollut parasta saunaillat, isosten hassut vitsit ja iltaohjelmat, ruoka, oma isosryhmä, hienot herätykset ja ylipäätään kaikki, kuten inside jokes (saltbae).Kannatamme kaikkia tulemaan ensi kesänä KV-ripareille!! <3:llä Outin Muruset :-)
Cabbage stew 2.0
Meidän ryhmämme nimi on "Cabbage stew 2.0".
Tyrone´s riders
We “Tyrone’s riders” really enjoyed going to the sauna and swimming because it gave us a true Finnish experience. We enjoyed the evening programs because they were really funny and we got a chance to bond with other people at this camp. The lessons were very educational and the teachers were fun. The teachers taught about Christianity, God and the Bible in a way that was fun and light hearted. We felt that the prayer beads gave us a chance to explore different emotions and learn about the power of God and his love. Overall we have truly enjoyed this camp and we leave with joyful memories and with God in our hearts.
Quel que Chose:
Our group is made up of Riina, Maria, Filippa, Timo, Michael and Lauri, then me, Yingli as the group's biggie.
We have to talk about the fabulous 🙄morning wake ups. Absolutely lovely. Isoset came into the rooms and shouted at us with some bad music. Our favourite wake ups were the army wake up, the teletubbies dance, and the first morning's "Gandalf sax guy" wake up.
At the camp, there were lots of fun activities, including games, songs and demented skits. We learnt new games, such as the Pony game, where you ran around singing a dumb song about fat horses.
We had a game where we had to run around and find pieces of paper with numbers on them, and complete ridiculous tasks.
Also, each day had a different food theme. We have had Japan, America, France, Italy, Sweden, Finland, Germany and India. We didn't like the Japanese dinner, but we loved the French food.
Overall, it was really fun, everyone made new friends from around the world. We will remember these ten days forever and hope to reunite with them again.
Puskapossut
We are Puskapossut. Our group includes Samuel, Sara, Noah, Lilja, Taavi, Monica and our biggie Julia. Our group name came from the direct translation of hedgehogs. We like hedgehogs and sleeping. We got to know each other on deeper level. We're all good people but we're sh**ty at sports together. We met so many new people and got a lot of new friends from different parts of the world. We have all especially liked the evening programs preformed by the biggies. It was also really fun to make burgers on a campfire with our friends. This camp was really fun and we all loved it.
Some people come out of the closet, but we came out of the fridge (inside joke).
Jäätävät Jääkarhut
Me olemme Jäätävät Jääkarhut ja ryhmäämme kuuluu ISO-Juhani, pikku-Henna, pikku-Milena, pikku-Viivi, pikku-Hanna ja pikku-Leevi. Olemme tutustuneet huonon huumorin ja hassujen kokemuksien välityksellä. Ryhmämme lempikokemuksia leiristä olivat saunailtojen laulun kaiku (Suomen kansallislaulu on ollut suuressa suosiossa), iltaohjelmien hassun hauskat jutut ja leikit (kaikki lastenohjelmista jonneiluun), jäätävän kylmät uinnit (niin kuin jäätävät jääkarhut), tunteelliset iltahartaudet, herkulliset ruuat ja keskustelua täynnä olevat raamikset. Kaikkien hauskin kokemus tosin oli aito suomalainen metsäretki, jossa eksyimme aitoon suomalaiseen tapaan mitään virheitä myöntämättä. (Punkkihalvaus tietenkin samalla kaikkien mielessä).
Hope Knows
Meidän ryhmän nimi on ”Hope Knows”. Ryhmässä on 4 pikkusta. Toivo, Iida, Joel ja Leo. Kaikki paitsi Joel asuvat Suomessa.
